Purpose and scope

Signeta is a software product operated by Signeta Pty Ltd. It prepares copy-certification PDFs. Professional users supply authority and judgement. It is not legal advice, a professional retainer, registration verification or a remote witnessing service. Website use does not create a professional engagement.

These terms apply to the Signeta website. The iOS application is licensed under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. The product information below does not amend, replace or override that application licence. Read Apple's Standard EULA.

Your professional responsibilities

Check your authority and the recipient’s requirements. Sight the original as required, enter accurate details, select suitable current wording, verify the date and inspect every page. Follow required signature, initial, placement and submission rules.

Obtain permission to handle documents and protect exported copies. The app does not check your identity, registration or professional eligibility.

Wording and recipient acceptance

State and territory templates provide commonly used wording; custom text can be saved. Requirements depend on the profession, task, jurisdiction and recipient. Neither the templates nor a successful export guarantee compliance or acceptance.

Wet-ink and electronic output

An unsigned prepared PDF needs actual certification completion and a wet-ink signature on paper. A drawn electronic signature is an image embedded in the PDF, not a certificate-based digital signature. Printing electronic output does not create wet ink.

Confirm acceptance of the certification, signature and submission method separately. Signeta does not provide the execution or witnessing process for affidavits or statutory declarations.

PDF processing and printing

Certification creates a new PDF copy. Visible existing signatures may be copied without authentication; original digital verification is not preserved. Not every file feature, physical scale, printer outcome or destination outcome is guaranteed. Forms, metadata, tagging and attachments may not be preserved.

Per-document limits apply, including up to 20 pages and 64 MiB PDF processing. Inspect the final PDF and actual print. Read the processing limits.

Access and purchases

Two successful professional document-session exports are included for evaluation. Repeated output in the same open session is included; a new session may use another export. Scan Only is unlimited within processing limits. The free count is device-local, separate from purchased access and may survive reinstall.

Certifier Pro Lifetime is one non-consumable in-app purchase removing the professional export quota, with no recurring subscription or automatic evaluation charge. See the current price in the app. Apple’s purchase price and confirmation govern the transaction.

Use Settings → Restore Purchases with the purchasing Apple Account; connectivity and verification may be needed. Lifetime is not a promise of perpetual OS support, every future add-on, Family Sharing or an enterprise licence. Read the full access explanation.

Rights and acceptable use

Your documents remain yours; preparing a document does not transfer its ownership to Signeta. This site has no document-upload service and does not require a licence to host your document contents.

The application licence is Apple's Standard EULA. Do not misrepresent credentials, forge documents, handle data unlawfully or misuse another person’s information.

Signeta Pty Ltd retains its rights in the Signeta name, website content and artwork. Website content may be used for ordinary evaluation of the product; other reuse requires permission, subject to applicable law. The iOS application's licence is addressed by Apple's Standard EULA.

Privacy and external destinations

Read the privacy policy for profile, document, temporary-file, purchase and support handling. Independent apps, cloud services, printers and recipients handle exported copies under their own terms and policies. There is no Signeta cloud account deletion process.

Availability, updates and support

Release compatibility and minimum supported OS remain to be confirmed. The intended workflow is for iPhone and iPad.

The app's final device and operating-system compatibility will be confirmed before release. Signeta Pty Ltd may update the website and app as needed, subject to applicable law and purchased rights. No particular future feature or perpetual operating-system compatibility is promised.

Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights and guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Refund entitlements are subject to applicable law and the Apple purchase process.

Website information is general and may change. Signeta Pty Ltd does not guarantee that a particular recipient will accept a prepared copy or certification method. To the extent permitted by law, website information is provided without additional warranties. This does not limit non-excludable consumer guarantees or remedies. The app licence is governed by Apple's Standard EULA and applicable law.
